How it Works

  • This is a fully live-streamed course.  
  • On the stream there will be chat and a live Q&A period.
  • Once you sign up, you’ll get access to a private page in your My Library section of Warp Academy with all the info on how to access the stream.  
  • You’ll also get an e-mail with a link to join the stream.  
  • Once the live-stream is complete, you’ll get access to a recorded version you can watch for 30 days after to review the information.  
  • The recording will not be available for purchase after the stream is finished, so you need to sign up in advance.  

  • What skill level is this?

    • The hacks and techniques presented in this Bootcamp will be useful for producers of all levels.  It’s useful to know a bit of basic music theory, so if you haven’t studied the foundations, then we’d recommend taking our Music Theory Course: https://www.warpacademy.com/shop/music-theory/  
  • What software & gear do I need?

    • Any modern DAW with basic devices like an EQ and spectrum analyzer.  We’ll be teaching in Ableton Live 10, but the techniques can be done in any program.  
    • Broadband internet.  Make sure your connection is solid so you have the best experience.  If you have slow internet or sketchy wifi, the live-stream may get glitchy for you.  
    • Ideally you’ll have reference headphones or monitor speakers plugged in so you can properly hear what we’re doing.  If you don’t have those, you can get by with regular headphones, but we recommend studio-grade equipment.
    • A microphone if you want to ask questions during the stream.  
    • The free Zoom app to join the stream.  You can grab it and install it here: https://zoom.us/  You’ll get a couple of setup tutorials once you sign up that’ll show you how to use it.  
  • When is the Live-Stream?

  • How do I access the live-stream?

    • Once you sign up, you’ll get access to a private page in your My Library section of Warp Academy with all the info on how to access the stream.  You’ll also get a reminder e-mail with a link to join the stream the day before.
  • Will the Live-Stream be Recorded?

    • Yes.  Once the live-stream is complete, you’ll get access to a recorded version you can watch for 30 days after to review the information.  However, you have to sign up before the live-stream happens to get the recording. The archive won’t be available for sale after the stream happens.  
  • What style / genre of music is this for?

    • This is for electronic music genres.  The techniques are relevant and useful for any sub-genre in electronic music.
